Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Whether for single or multiple substrate treatment, SONOSYS® offers a wide range of different products for the best possible cleaning results. From our nozzle systems, which can cover several frequency ranges simultaneously, to FTF transducers and various immersion transducers of different sizes, coatings, and frequency ranges, a wide variety of solutions are possible. If you are unsure about which product to choose, we offer test systems for hire so that you can gather further information about the best possible system before making your final decision. Of course, our experts are also available to advise you at any time.

Sonosys® megasonic nozzles combine high-frequency sound waves and water jet technology for highly efficient, gentle cleaning. With a single nozzle, a mega sound wave is transmitted to the surface to be cleaned by means of a flowing medium. With a double nozzle, two frequency ranges are combined, and with a triple nozzle, three frequency ranges are combined to produce a more powerful and gentler cleaning effect.

Sonosys® offers megasonic applications in different frequency ranges; our new nozzles up to 9MHz. In general, the higher the frequency, the smaller the particles that can be removed, well below 100 nanometers. At the same time, megasonic cleaning is gentle and achieves a high cleaning effect.

Yes. The experts at Sonosys® will help you implement the optimal solution for your megasonic application. There are no limits to the range of solutions available: from adapting existing products to developing customized concepts, Sonosys® offers individual concepts in line with our company motto, “Mastering nanoclean together.” Do not hesitate to contact us.

When using ultra- or megasonic technology, various parameters need to be optimized in terms of frequency, duration of application, power, chemicals used, and temperatures. Sonosys® offers a range of test systems for rent at affordable prices. This allows you to test the megasonic application with your frame parameters at your leisure in order to obtain the necessary information and certainty for your final selection.

Together with our Australian research partner CSIRO, we are continuously researching different applications for our technology in the food industry.

For example, the use of our special mega-sound systems in the production of various oils (e.g., olive oil, palm oil) has significantly increased yields, reduced the use of chemicals, and extended the shelf life of the oils. Good for the environment, good for the economy, good for people.

The Sonosys® digital generator replaces conventional analog generators. It enables precise remote control of the output power via a server using the Modbus protocol. Unlike older models, the digital generator not only allows output power to be set, but also enables real-time monitoring of internal data such as temperature, actual output power, and fault conditions. It also supports control signals for remote control of frequency and duty cycle and can be switched on and off via the network or locally.

The Sonosys® digital generator offers significant advantages over analog generators, including remote control and monitoring functions via Modbus, improved operating accuracy, real-time diagnostics of errors and device status, and flexible control of frequency and duty cycle. Compared to conventional analog generators, this enables more efficient management and easier integration into automated systems.
