Submersible transducers
Flexible and cost-effective retrofitting with our mega-sound immersion transducers
Our submersible transducers – encapsulated transducers made of stainless steel or plastic (e.g. PVDF and PFA) – are suitable for placement on the bottom or side wall of existing tanks.
In addition to the standard versions for 4“, 6”, and 8" substrates, the dimensions of the submersible transducers can also be customized. They are available in frequencies of 400kHz / 600kHz / 1MHz and 2MHz.
This extremely flexible design enables cost-effective retrofitting of process tanks with a megasonic system.
Applications:
Cleaning of substrates, semiconductor wafers, microcomponents, and microsystems as well as masks up to 200mm. Support for the development process in LIGA technology and etching processes.

Stainless steel submersible transducers
Our stainless steel submersible transducers consist of the following components and materials that come into contact with the medium:
- Housing (stainless steel)
- Transducer plate (stainless steel)
- O-ring (usually FKM or FFKM)
- Corrugated hose (PTFE hose with stainless steel braiding)
Variations
We have the right solution for every bathing application. Our submersible transducers with angled or straight hose outlets allow for flexible setup of the application environment.
Power
The maximum power output of the submersible transducers is approx. 4W/cm² (generator power 100%).
The generators can be set between 10% and 100%; lower values are also possible at maximum power output on customer request.
Coated submersible transducers
Our coated submersible transducers consist of the following components and materials that come into contact with the medium:
- Housing (PVDF)
- Transducer plate (PFA-coated stainless steel plate)
- O-ring (usually FKM or FFKM)
- Corrugated hose (PTFE)
